does anybody know whether there are any shops near Borovets or Somakov where i can buy ski jackets, trousers, wrist guards, helmets for snowboards etc
and if so is it any cheaper out there. i assume and hope it would be. Surprised
would be very grateful if anyone coud give me this information

Yo geordie, yep there are plenty of places in borovets to buy your gear, but you can also get some pretty good deals here to, depending if you want named stuff
or not, have you tried tk max or asda or matalan, www.skiwear4less.com

All those 'noodles' as stated are good places to find some great deals, you could also try outdoormegastore.co.uk and wildday.co.uk

You could also try your local 'freeport' they may have some good deals on Trespass or Dare to Be (daretobe.co.uk) which are also quality products
