Am looking at travelling with family on 7 - 14 April. Is this too late for skiing and could I waste my money?
Also, looking for ski school for my kids (2nd timers) but not all day - just morning. Do you know of any that do these hours? Which have most English kids in them as they want to make friends. thanks
Hard to say - bit of a gamble, but on current snowfall I would think you should be OK. It will be quiet with very few tourists around as most tour companies finish at the end of March. You may also struggle to find any instructors as many will heading off to the coast to seek summer employment.
We'll be there from April 1st for a week.
I think you may just scrape in. Looking at the last 5 years the peak seems to be shifting to a later date, and as PP says, the early snow should provide a good foundation for later snows to hang around a little longer.
my season ticket is until 15th april, but I have never known ullen/bansko stay open until the end even though the snow is usually brilliant in the morning , but slushy later on in the day
