snow in bansko

look at all that snow!! if u look at the bansko ski web cams, theres one of the village and around that level, and you can see theres parts that are white!! any body know how much snow fell in bansko last night??

There was a little bit in the morning but now it has all melted. There is certainly more on the upper slopes but does not appear to be too much. According to the Resque Service, there is 40cm snow, compared to 30 cm last week. Still enough to soften the tracks, it seems. -10C at the top, so it will not melt.
I am going around 10th Feb for a few days and will definitely send reports from the resort (don't know why people are not doing this more often).

u rekon the weather will be better when we go?? i mean last year this time was alot better than it is now, but s'pose u cant change the weather, we just have to hope!!

It snowed very heavily from around 10.30am to 15.30 yesterday on the upper slopes - probably put 15cm on top of the pistes. It was also very windy. It depends on what they do with it when they bashed it this morinng.

There was a little snow in town this morning - but we left at 7a.m.!
