snow reports

some people are already saying that the snow may be pants for the 21st. can i ask, where are you getting that info? i can't find anything that stretches that far aheda.

kat, take no notice or it will do your head in.

Every year at this time the snow can be a bit iffy. The main dumps tend to come towards the end of Jan which as you say, is far too far ahead to give any accurate predictions.

But history will tell you that you will be fine in late Jan.

dont worry there forcast snow on 21 jan. the alps get it first on 19 th dont worry.

cheers folks. i'm not too stressed as weather's a funny old thing, was just wondering how people were getting hold of these forecasts. will check em out later.

we always go the same week and in normal years still get to ski and it still snows, for the last 10 years ------ This year though will be better because i cant remember them having as good a base of snow in previous years ----- so definately dont worry

The thing to bear in mind, is a forcast is basically an educated guess with the help of computers. So if the forcast says snow, it may not actually snow. And on that theory if the forcast says no snow, then there may actually be tons of it.

Last year at the end of jan, the forcast was not great. When we got to borovets, they had had the most snow they've had in 20 years!! Im not joking.

So dont worry, you'll be fine.
