re: snowboard & ski lessons

You can do a 2 hour taster snowboarding lesson from the guys in the Snowshack. Just pop in and ask for Gary.

All gear and lesson approx. £25.

For the skiing, see Pete next door to the snowshack. All great guys.

re: snowboard & ski lessons

The only problem with his being 7 is whether they have a board and boots small enough for him.

My son first boarded in Austria at age 9, and he used the smallest board Burton make. The next year in France I bought a board for him, 110cm I think. It is pretty much the smallest size made.

When he is standing a snowboard should come up to about chin level as a rough guide.

Actually this has reminded me that we still have the board - now long outgrown - in the garage. I know Pete ...

re: snowboard & ski lessons

I have read that children under seven are better off on skis. I expect that is more related to size than age. I expect a smaller child would find a snowboard harder to control. Boarding is great fun though and super COOL. Wink

re: snowboard & ski lessons

The Interski shop next to the Snow Shack will help yopu with both - but better to go to the Snow Shack for for boarding.
The guys at Intertski (next door to the Snow Shack) will see you okay for the skiing part.

Have a great time
