I've had a few lower end boards just while learning, but then had a second hand custom x, then bought a brand new whole set up, the first year the channel boards were brought out and should! Last me now, but then I go into shops and get tempted to buy again,,,ya know what they say,,,,boys and their toys.

re: snowboard advice

Gary, pretty easy advice, hacksaw, a steady hand, cut right down the middle, junk the plastic strappy things, bolt on proper bindings, and buy some ski boots Wink

Talk of a new course at Shambala, or at least a re-design of the bottom. It was awesome as it was, especially the old course, steep as !!, in fact some riders said it was almost un-rideable...
Hope to get some time over there before the start of the summer season, hoping also for some more development at the Borovets bike park ...

re: snowboard advice

From what i can see of boarding, perhaps just to visit my local bar, request a tray, and smash myself in the face with it, will then give me the true experience of boarding... so no need to actually try it Wink

Let me just say that most of the things said about the `Shambala' DH course.... are true, and sometimes an underestimation... they should really call the `rock garden' the `cemetery' Surprised That said, it is a real test, and very long, so fitness plays a part, two runs and you know ...
