snowboard boots

Has anyone bought snowboard boots in Borovets (or Sofia)?
Are they good quality? What are the prices like? Would you recommend getting a pair in the UK to really make sure they're good and comfy?
To re-ask a question from the board that I don't think got answered... anyone know where to shop in Sofia for boarding stuff?
Thanks!

re: snowboard boots

I bought Northwave boots in the UK, Boa lace ones for £60.

I found Burton Ion boots in Borovets for £100, Thats about 50% less than the UK, Was looking for Vans though so didn't buy them.

All snowboarding gear was well priced, got a Burton Troop ladies freestyle board for £180, usually £350 ish in the UK.

Very Happy
