re: snowboard equipment

Phil,

No the boards & boots do not come from the Snow Shack, they are independaent from all the tour operators and ski schools in resort.

It all depends on which tour operator you are booked with, your rep in resort will tell your where to collect your gear from at the welcom meeting the morning after you arrive. Try and tell your rep in the nicest possible way that you don't need to listen to the chat and just get your board hire and lift pass tokens off them.

re: snowboard equipment

Wouldn't know what the gear from the tour operators is like. I have been to Pamps 3 times, but we know th guys in the Snow Shack, 1st & 2nd times I used their gear and it is goods, 3rd time I had my own board and boots.

Going back this Saturday but using their gear again as i sold mine before Christmas.

As a general rule, just check the bottom of the board to make sure there is no real damage and also make sure that the boots are really comfy before you leave the depot as uncomfy boots ...

Dont be afraid to change what they give you,
