Bulgaria Ski discussion board

snowboarding next week...

but not in Bulgaria just yet! i've just booked myself in for a lesson at Castleford Xscape, level 3 boarding hoping it will get my confidence up before we go to Bansko on 3rd March. Anyone else had lessons at Xscape and can tell me what to expect?
Bulgaria will be my 3rd boaring holiday, but its safe to say i'm not a natural and i find it hard so hoping that a lesson before i go might ease the nerves...!!

Have you skied? Im crap at skiing been eight times now and was going to give boarding a go this time but not sure if I will be able to do that either.

No never skied before, learning to board is hard enough without throwing in ski lessons haha!!
i've bought my own board now though, so when we go to Bansko it will be the first time i will use it, hoping that it will make a difference as it should be much easier to use than the rental boards i've had in the past, not very "women friendly" planks as they are heavy and too wide for my size 4's!!

be careful with your new board, iv just come back from pamps and had a new board its really fast cos its so smooth and fresh on the bottom

good point ice queen, my bf has warned me about that already, said i might get off the lift and be at the bottom before i've had time to worry about it hehe!!
