re: snowboarding protection

I'd say wrist guards and knee pads are deffo worth investing in when your first learning, the extra cost is worth it, I still don't leave home without mine Very Happy

re: snowboarding protection

I remember my 1st time boarding by the 3rd day I was in agony with my Coccyx, get yourself a ' tail saver ' if you're worried about it, definately worth the £ 25.

re: snowboarding protection

I went for first time in january and had a water bottle in my front pocket, when i fell forwards and landed on it i broke my ribs. So if you can, get as much protection as possible and buy a ruck sack for your bits and bobs.

re: snowboarding protection

christ! my bf who is coming with me already had a cracked rib (football injury) so he's got lots of body protection already so hopefully it won't get any worse!

Helmet -----heal edge slams
Knee pads ----- toe edge slams
Padded shorts ---- general sitting down and heal edge falls
elbow pads ----- front side slams at speed
