hi there,
1st time boarding in bansko next wk- v excited! do i nee protection though for my bum for all the falling i'm gonna do? am worried my boarding trousers won't protect me enough!
I'd say wrist guards and knee pads are deffo worth investing in when your first learning, the extra cost is worth it, I still don't leave home without mine
I remember my 1st time boarding by the 3rd day I was in agony with my Coccyx, get yourself a ' tail saver ' if you're worried about it, definately worth the £ 25.
I went for first time in january and had a water bottle in my front pocket, when i fell forwards and landed on it i broke my ribs. So if you can, get as much protection as possible and buy a ruck sack for your bits and bobs.
christ! my bf who is coming with me already had a cracked rib (football injury) so he's got lots of body protection already so hopefully it won't get any worse!
