Me too, but don't think it wíll. Much excitement in staffroom when head circulated 'snow contact' sheet - 'Who Will Telephone You if School is Closed'. Weatherman only forecast us a 'light dusting' so all giddiness in vain it seems. Never mind - always a chance boiler might break down ..
My head has told us all he will conatct the local radio station at 6.30 in the morning when he makes a decision. According to metcheck our snow isn't due until 7am. he will have us all travelling there as it buckets down.
boilers often break down in schools. . .me thinks teachers fiddle with em so school can close . . .hee hee . .no such luck for me . . .am a nurse and hospitals NEVER shut . .pooh
This happened to me twice last year. On second occasion, LEA consultant due in. He came anyway, but no kids in school. He said what a pity that was - "You could have taken your children out into the snow to write poetry....". Year 8, bottom set ... Hmmmm ..........
