hi all,
my better half has convinced me to come skiing for the first time, and is really excited about me havin a good experience...but ive been following kas and bobbys updates and it sounds like bad news re snow/skiing conditions! Be honest with me,am I gona be able to learn how to ski-or should i pack my walking gear instead?!
Skiing's always a bit hit and miss with the weather. A couple of years ago we had a week with fresh snow every night and sun every day, the year before we had very little snow.
Keep an open mind and make the most of what's there. Who knows, the snow-gods might look kindly on you
First and possibly last post this year on weather. Sorry but just don't have the time, and pamps pete has a good handle on the shorter term stuff nowadays anyway.
After next couple days staying cold, at the mo it does not look very good. Remaining dry, and temps slowly rising--and to be honest it looks like remaining this way until late next week at the earliest-possibly even longer
As always i hope it improves for all of you going.....
from what I have read from bobby and kas the nursery slopes have been open, this is where you will be for the first few days, so you should be able to ski
