sofia to pamps transfer

trying to arrange a transfer for a 16/17 year old on the 7/2/09 from sofia to pamps and returning on the 14/2/09. can anyone advise of a cost effective way of doing this.

Contact Balkan Tours (Ireland). They have a few buses leaving Sofia for Pamporovo on these dates and may have one or two seats available.

I've always landed in Plovdiv, but this year we're landing in Sofia and then transferring to Pamporovo. Can you tell me how long is the coach transfer? I was also told that there's a new motorway? How long is it and where does it start and finish. Do you know why many of the tour companies, Balkan Tours (Ireland) included, are going to Sofia rather than Plovdiv?

the coach transfer from sofia is 4 2 5 hours depending on weather,i flew from ireland dublin with chrystal ski and landed in plodiv much easier
what time is ur flight with balkan to sofia, is it a belfast departure

Haven't the flight time yet, we're not heading until February but at the minute it's a Belfast departure but knowing our luck, it could be changed to Dublin.

about 4 hours. It is a good road to Plovdiv, not new though. Then you are on mountain roads.

pat i think u will find the flight times very bad u will get to ur hotel about 7/8 am sunday morning

Could try the bus from the main bus terminal in sofia. 22 leva each way to Pamporovo. 4 hours for the journey time too.
