Book the package ski equipment and lift pass, with tuition if you need it. its a very good deal if you ask me. you should be able to do it here or with whatever tour operator you use.

re: some information about borovetz

There were loads of Israelis in Borovets when I went last March - it's strange to hear Ivrit being spoken on the slopes. I wasn't expecting it.

The Rila is very central for the four man chair lift and the Samokov for the Gondola.

Best to book your passes, boots, tuition and skis through this site if you can - prices are about double once you are in the resort.

re: some information about borovetz

Both are close to the action and have their own ski schools
I stayed at the Samokov and it was fine, Rila has a few more shops within the building but anyone can use them.

THere are all sorts of nationalities, I heard English, German, French, Greek and well as russian sounding could have been bulgarian or one of the slav countries.

Happy holidays
