I should imagine that a springer cross pointer would make both a fantastic pet and working dog? I nearly got a pointer a few months ago but decided that two dogs was enough! But it was a close thing. I hope your gorgeous boy recovers quicly , Is he wearing one of those cumbersome collars?

to add to the breeds, we are looking after 2 beagle puppies for the local hunt, to give them a life outside kennels before they start work
