hi johnare they working dogs your springer spaniels?
i have a pointer cross springer i shoot with, but he's laid up this week - caught his dangley bit on barbed wired!!

No, afraid not, the oldest lost an eye due to infection when she was five months old and the other although from a working family is not worked due mainly to time constraints and partly undocked tails. They enjoy long walks over Dartmoor and scurrying through the woods near our home.We are lucky to live in the beautiful South Devon.Springers have very soft underbellies and mine are forever cutting themselves on wire etc, thank god for insurance!! I should imagine that a springer cross pointer would make both a fantastic pet and working dog? I nearly got a pointer a few months ago but decided that two dogs was enough! But it was a close thing. I hope your gorgeous boy recovers quicly , Is he wearing one of those cumbersome collars?

were not far from you, up the road at cheddar, on the side of the mendip hills,
only consulation for charley's injury was being able to avoid beating last saturday, and shoot on every drive, for once was in good form, 21 shots, 6 pheasants and 1 pidgeon
down to devon wednesday to devon ski centre, need ski boots pushed out or maybe, fingers crossed a new pair!! ...

to add to the breeds, we are looking after 2 beagle puppies for the local hunt, to give them a life outside kennels before they start work
