st ivan apartments bansko

hi guys, first time poster. wondering if anybody had any information on the st ivan development in bansko( bought through MRI). The completion date is continously been pushed out after been given aninitial completion date of 11/07.

steve C, you seem to be the man in the know, any information would be appeciated?

My son is also buying a property with MRI on the St Ivan Development and like you gets nothing but promises re the completion.

He is now thinking of selling before completion, but is told he will not get any compensation for this long delay if he does so.

MRI are pushing him and us to buy more properties, which we are considering doing - but it won't be through MRI, we are rapidly losing confidence in them.

Would be interested to hear more from you.

i did not buy through MRI, but our appartement was a year late. We tried to get compensation, as stated in the agreement, but no chance, they have millions of excuses.

I am telling you this to warn you that you may recieve nothing in compensation. You should take that into consideration.

I've heard that since Bulgaria joined the EU, investors do not pay capital gains tax on the sale of first property. Do you know if this is correct?
