Returned from a great holiday in boro from sofia to gatwick.
When we got to sofia on the way home i found that i still had my hip flask in my pocket with some brandy in.
put the hip flask in my case when arriveing at gatwick
found it had been stolen went to lost property they asked for a receipt for the flask .Told him that it was a present from my mum .He said that i would have to buy a flask
send the receipt with a crime number to the airline we flew with. My wife spent several days ...

Thompson airline they said they would had to have received it in 7 days from time being reported and it was the 9th day So a word of WARNING read your small print

i feel sorry for mates i met last week- we have just returned from a week in spain (2am Thursday morning)- my mates were due to fly 2 hours after us to Leeds Bradford i think- just had a call from them- they are still stuck in Girona!- cancelled flights an hour after we left!- Their insurance does not cover this "act of God"-- they spent £150 each for a cheap week and have spent £450 on the visa each in hotel costs Thursday- monday! (everyone suddenly put the prices up!)- and they dont know ...

Yeah and act of god that the airlines hotels and tour operators will all benefit from??? flights cancelled get a later flight at 3times the price, hotels and restaurants making double because people are desperate, I think it's terrible how some people can make money from other peoples desperate situations !

Paid £250 for rescue off Yatrebets in March - this was the only part of my policy that didn't have the £50 excess!Caz
