can anyone tell me if towels are provided or do we need to take our own?Thanks

Hi Lisa,I've just can back from bansko and stopped in Hotel Strazhite. If you are planing to swim then yes you do need to take your own towels, you will also find 2 bath robs in your room use them when you go swimming ( change into swim wear in room) no shoes aloud in pool area only flip flops. If you have any more question i will be happy to help. I WISH I WAS COMMING WITH YOU .

Thanks Debbie, great help! can you recomend any good places to eat? How did you find the food in hotel? Im not a fussy eater but i know 2 males that are! What time is pool open til? Were you in beginner group and if so how did you find it?How were the rooms, staff at hotel etc?

There are at least 100 mehanas (restaurants) to choose from, although they all have similar menus.I have not been into a bad one, they are slighty cheaper away from the slopes though.

Hi Lisa , where do i start, hotel food - i found it ok, you got the same every morning for breakfast, a choice of 3 meat dishes in the evening but not very hot ( warm ish) + lots of salads + lots of sticky cakes for pud( which my boys LOVED). The pool i think is open till 8.00pm every day. The rooms are lovely furnished and warm ( you may need to open a window). We only eat out once - we went to a small mehana in the old town near the church , sorry can't remember the name , good food, ...

We only eat out once - we went to a small mehana in the old town near the church , sorry can't remember the name , good food, good service brillant night.Word of WARNING - stay away from the man in a grey cape, who stands out side the mehana on the main rd to old town it's a flee pit. The ski instructors are lovely, this was my 2nd time on snow. If you have childern in ski school, you will have to meet them at 12.00 pm till 1.00pm for lunch as instructors leave them on there own. Please remember to get a safty deposit box for money, passport ect ; it is a must..... only 4 lev a day.
