stupid question time .. but..

As the title says it may seem stupid to you but it's the cherry popping, virgin snowboarding trip this week.. bring on saturday Razz
But am I stupid or can you get away with wearing normal socks at night? Or would you recomend another pair (or 2) of ski socks?
Also, t-shirts ! are the pubs warm enough? Confused

Just basically wear in evenings what you wear here pubs are warm enough in side ie jeans t.shirt etc as you can you just take your coat off once inside

re: stupid question time .. but..

lol. Don't worry mate, normal socks are fine and you may fine the thick woolies a tad tight in your shoes anyway. The pubs are gloriously warm, the only cold being the walk between the bars. Booze Booze Booze Booze

Of course, if your toes fall off you have not read this

Hi Matty i've been thinking the exact same thing. Seems odd to me that your so layered up in the day and not at night when it's probably more cold. Obviously this is my first time going!

Decent Boots and normal socks are fine, ie walking boots or snow boots (warm with good grip are only £10 in resort) with your ski/board jacket. We found that walking a few hundred metres in jeans got the legs a bit cold in -20 odd degrees c so i took thermals this year and they worked a treat (and nobody knows lol) you could even wear a pair of tights if you are that way inclined (i wont tell) Have a great time ExclamationHeres to the 11th March Booze

Thanks, think i'll give the tights a miss tho i'd rather be cold!

What's £10, just walking / hiking boots?

Thanks

re: stupid question time .. but..

Specialist snow boots were around 30 lev but walking/hiking boots are as good if you have them and perfectly acceptable on the razz!
Hope this helps
