re: sun glasses or goggles?

i gather thats its much cheaper there than in the UK
Goggles if you go fast and occasionaly fall over
sunglasses if you drink in the pub all day and fall over
take both is my advice

re: sun glasses or goggles?

You will only really need the googles if it is snowing while you are skiing.

re: sun glasses or goggles?

All the times I have been I have never used goggles..... until last year!! Always take a pair of Oakley Sunglasses with non shatter lenses in them, you will not need goggles. However last year a real 'pea souper' came over the top and you could see the best part of ?#gger all. The sunglasses back home will generally be of a better quality but if you're not worried about ultra violet stuff and kite marks (or whatever our standards are) just get some over there. 'Cheap as chips'.

re: sun glasses or goggles?

I wear contact lenses and find that my eyes water too much with sunglasses so always wear goggles for skiing, just sunglasses for posing!! Bought some good 'smith' googles in Borovets couple of years ago, just be careful of the fakes, plenty of kosher ski shops there. If its your first time definately take both.

re: sun glasses or goggles?

I knew someone that didn't take goggles and there was a blizzard and his eye lasses had icicles on them!! So recomend taking both!

re: sun glasses or goggles?

I always take both, but find I hardly ever wear the goggles... when the weather is really bad they mist up just as much as the sunglasses and you can't see anything anyway. Goggles are also a pain in the butt to carry when you are not using them.
So take both and decide for yourself!
