Heywas watching the news this morning before i came to work, whats this about tax increases that we have to pay on our holidays!??

Doubled the duty on flights..from the 1 st Feb 07 short haul additional £5, long haul additional £10 if you booked after the 6th December 2006 you will be asked by some airlines to pay the additional costs or risk losing the seat. BA have waivered the cost to customers. booked before the 6th (budget) you should be okay.Sucks.. more tax, and now theres plans to assess you council tax yearly incase you improve your home by adding a con or extention.

YEAH i heard that too, bloody government!i booked my ski holiady back november, so should be ok then!? booked it with Balkhan holiday, i cant bloody wait to go, something like 50 days now till i go....its dragging!re: tax increases
These taxs suck BUT we've all seen the lack of snow this season and unless you're completely blind the weather systems ARE changing.
As lovers of snow sports its very important that we play our part to protect the snow for our kids and their kids etc, to protect the environment.
A lot of people say why should we change, its just a cycle the planet is going through. Simple argument. What if you are wrong!! I do all I can do help the environment and I still fly to go skiing. The govt has ...
