Are the lifts/gondolas in Bansko open to crosswinds?

Do they warrant a scarf/headover whilst travelling uphill?

Some of the photos look quite dark and dismal out of the sun. I guess it gets cold in those shady spots?

Anyone advise?

I think you would need a space suit on Monday morning snow-forecast.com are saying that it will be -20 C with a windchill factor of -33 C.
