thank you for the hard work and long hours put in to ease the troubled transfers on the 12th and 19th .. you did a good job under difficult circumstances .. thankyou
I understand that it was very difficult for them, and their job was made more difficult by certain elements but, unfortunately, they didn't help themselves much of the time either, I'm afraid.
Personally, I think that the people higher up in the chain need to be more sensitive towards the reps on the ground actually dealing with the customers.

It seems that, in many instances, they were left to face frustrated, tired and angry people with little support or information and that's the main problem here ... information - or lack of it.
Once you got to talk to them quietly, it seemed that most of the time they were as much in the dark as us and that's not right ... if I can find flight information out sat in an airport lobby then I'm sure the people higher up can do the same and pass it on.
If you're told "It's going to take 11 hours to be transferred" then sure, you'll be cheesed off but at least you know ... to be told it'll take 5 and still be sat on a coach 9 hours later is not the way to go about keeping customers!
Anyway, apart from the start and finish, the middle bit was great!!!
spot on egg .. the people at the top need to get their act together ... some of the reps prob never heard of thesaloniki before last week end .. they do now and will be able to give more accurate info next time ........ and there will be one ..
Thing is, they must have had some idea of how long the transfer took because they had to get to Greece by coach in the first place!
Add to that the fact that the reason we were in Greece anyway was due to the fog and it doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out that driving in freezing fog conditions on mountain roads is tiring and SLOOOOWWWW!!!
I agree with what you say about more info coming from the people at the top, our rep had only been in post for 3 weeks and was a wreck by the time she got us to Greece, she thought it was better to not tell us the actual transfer time till we were 2hrs into the journey in case we had a go at her, which was stupid cos at least we could have got stuff from the supermarket in Pamps for the 9.5hr journey. She got really stroppy when we wanted a loo stop in case we didnt make the plane in time. We ...
