When does pamps move into the EU? When does the Lev change over to the euro as I am going away at the end of december and i remember the way it was at the of march last year with cheap Booze and everything else.......thanks

No one knows for definate yet - the word is 2007 but that could change... just dont buy your lev until the last minute....
I cannot see it changing at the beginning of 2007 - but you never know.....

date for Lev into euro will normally be 2009!

Note that EU membership does not mandate conversion to the Euro ...we still spend pounds in the UK!

I know a guy in one of the embassies in sophia and he says that bulgaria will not meet the economic preconditions laid down , so it will be lev for a while yet
