booked the rila bout 2 months ago with panorma and just got letter sayin they have no longer got a contract with them so they are puttin me in the hotel lion. has anybody been in hotel lion ? it looks very nice but where is it? its not even on the map. any good recommendations i might be able to change too.....heeeeeelllllllppppp.re: they cancelled my jollys
It's a long way out from resort central, a very nice hotel, but...See if they can put you in the Samokov instead which is in the centre still

I've been in the Lion for a drink. It really is a lovely hotel. It is either new or refurbished and is lovely inside. It didn't have a pool this season, but I'm sure they said that a pool would be opening this summer. It is a bit out of town, but it has a minibus service to take you to and from the centre. A taxi to the centre costs 10 leva.One downside of the Lion is that beer is a bit pricey.

The beer is pricey in the Rila too but you can go to the other bars if you are in the Town Centre.Ellie
