Oh boy, oh boy, what a weekend!
First the sportsday on thursday: there was so many wind that I felt almost into the 'Schelde' river and after an hour I have to stop!! I was totally out of breath.
Sorry Dave Canski, the wind was on the front..
So then I sat in the little bus and have had a good time with following on the map.
The stop in between was at a horsefarm! You could drink there the milk taken from the horses. They called Haflinger.
On the way back there was a collega who took ...

Normally we were with 150 persons but 100 rang to cancel it (and prefer to work!!)
Val, I took a look at the national.. what an event
I loved it.
And yesterday I watched Paris-Roubaix (bike):
Tom Boonen won!! Everyone here is totally crazy!
According to all the newspapers, he's the new Eddy Merckx...
He's so cute, only 24 old and the spirit to stay calm.
Belgium has a new god and his name is TOM BOONEN.

Hi Tanjette,I always think it is better to have wind on the front than coming from behind.
Do you remember a Belgian cyclist called Freddie Naird or Naared ? It was in the 70's though so you are probably too young
