tickets have arrived

The tickets have arrived, and we've been told that we go from Bristol to Plovdiv ..via.....wait for it... East Midlands.... it adds two hours onto the flight and means that we will not arrive at our hotel in Boro until after 10 pm local time.
As we have to be at the airport by 11am for a 1pm flight it looks like a longer day than we had hope for.

Think yourself lucky - January 2003 the plane to Plovidiv couldn't land (due to very heavy snow fall thankfully) - the coaches were waiting for us at Plovidiv and due to a serious coach deficit in Bulgaria they had to drive to Sofia to pick us up rather than get some local guys out.

We got to Pamps at 6.30 to get up at 7.30 to get the choice of the wonderful skis (?) that they had back then. Skiing when asleep is a bit interesting!!

Hi Mad Mike

We go to Plovdiv on 15th Jan from East Mids, through Balkan is this the norm for this year? Last year I thought it was from EMA to Newcastle and onto Plovdiv, at least we will not have to stop (hopefully)
