Hi all. I know there has been bits and pieces mentioned in other threads, but could someone please fill me in on what is the go for tipping in ski resorts in Bulgaria. The whole tipping thing is a bit strange for me as it is not generally the norm to tip where I am from (australia)
So for bulgaria, what is the 'norm' for tipping restaurants, and ski instructors, or anyone else....
we always tip like the us 10% of the bill we do this where ever we go seems fair. Although if I get bad service dont leave a penny again no mater where we are.
you will know what to tip by the end of the week, tip what you believe they deserve.... I never have a figure in mind till the end of the holiday - depends on how much I laughed in the ski lessons - generally they get a decent tip from me they are what makes my holiday... I never want to learn to ski properly think it will be dull without the instructor and the group
I agree - our instructor made our holiday. We were both novices (had a course of lessons at Xscape, thats all) and I was particularly nervous. He was excellent - the group was quite small (6 - 8 a day) and we were firm friends by the end of the week. I'm just worried now that when we go back in Feb I'll have forgotten how to do it!
