traffic in pamps

We heard a good tip if traffic problems persist in Pamps, alas too late for us!:
Take the one-man lift (from near the base of the three man lift) and then the second one man lift (from the mid-station). From there, the walk to the resort is only about 15 minutes.
Does it work going too the slopes?

re: traffic in pamps

You've got me well confused here.

The 1 man runs from the base station to the middle station. The only other lift from there is a 4 man chair to the top, apart from the t-bar that climbs the Wall.

You can walk to the road from behind Spiders but I for one would not want to walk back to the resort from there.

re: traffic in pamps

We had such a problem with getting from the slopes to the hotel. Some from our group followed the the way you described (but do not foget that you need to left you ski in the ski depot before this). This also should work for getting to the slopes (you do not need ski-pass to use the lift down from mid-station since it is support lift to deliver food, etc. up to the slopes) but the traffic in the morning is not so hard as in afternoon.

Pete
you know more than I and I didn't actually get chance to try it. However, I believe the second lift was a one-man again, but black in colour. It was described to me as going back-down the mountain.
I hope I'm right as it sounds a good answer for many!

re: traffic in pamps

As far as I am aware, the lift you are talking about is a staff service lift only, and to advise this lot to try it may just cause a little rumble in the jungle!!!!!!
