heard the transfer from sofia airport to borovets can take ages.does anybody know taxi/minibus fare for 8 persons for transfer.

It's only 1 to 1.5 hours and they serve Booze on most of the coaches.

Try e-mailing this site for private transfers, they can book them for you.

Chris, strange question I know, but are their loos on board the coaches? Not for me, but travelling with 3 boys, (one my other half!!). Cheers.

If Sofia is Open its as above. Ifs its closed as it has been twice for me, its 8 hours. Sorry, but be prepared. Problme is Sofia cannot land if foggy. Crying

i think it's a bit pot luck, the newer coaches do have loos and the older ones don't

If it's closed! what the hell does that mean. how can the airport you're landing at be closed......

Sofia and Plovdiv airports are closed if it is foggy. It only happends till the end of jan. If you give the flight details to bulgariaski.com they will know what is going on with your flihgt. Have their mobile phones too.
