I heard that there was a new dual carraigeway built from sofia to bansko.

What is the transfer time now?

Or have I been mis-informed.

BGMaps route planner estimates 1hr 55min from central Sofia via the quickest route - probably longer by coach.

There is a new dual carriageway on 18kms of the 160kms from Sofia to Bansko. Still much of the rest of the route has been renovated, so I made it in around 2 hours last weekend without driving like a lunatic. I guess a bus would be much the same.
