HIis there a bus from Blagoevgrad to bansko?
do you think it is possible to manage by a rented car?

There is a bus that runs from the local bus station at the bottom of town. Im not sure what the times are but I think Johnny at the tourist office may be able to help with this.
You can rent cars here in Bansko as they are quite cheap once in resort. blagoevgrad is easy to get to. Navigating around it not so easy as signs are not brilliant but we could give you the basic directions etc etc depending on where you want to go and want to do ...

Ah... may have read this wrong. If it is getting to Bansko from Blagoevgrad......Yes there will be a bus from the bus station in Blagoevgrad and yu should be able to rent a car easy from Blagoevgrad and the drive over the mountain is easy and very scenic no probs mate!!!!
