travellers cheque

everyone is saying not to take travellers cheques. i have just ordered mine, is there a problem with exchanging them. took them last year and changed no problem.

it's just that you tend to incur a higher commission rate and sometimes a worse exchange rate on travellers cheques than sterling Confused

Hi

Travelers cheques are ok, but you get stung a bit on commission.

I allways take Levs and US$ but you will have no bother with travelers cheques.

When are you off ?

thanks. we are going on 22nd. staying at the rila. we were always told not to take lev into the county. stayed at samakov last time. hope snow improves we cant wait.

Yeah julie the levs in and out thing has chaged now thats why you can grt them in the UK. but you get a better rate in BG still
