Hey there,
Coming to Borovets on Sunday, can't wait! First time skiing on snow... I just wondered, has anyone been on any excursions (such as the Rila monastery)? Which ones are worth doing?

Gidday LR,

I went to the Rila Monastry last year and thought it was worth the trip (if you are into old buildings) It was amazing with the snow around it and the ceiling paintings are truely beautiful. The drive to it is off the beaten track so it gives you a chance to see part of the real bulgaria out of the resort.
Your tour company rep should be able to arrange it for you.

went on a trip to a bulgarian evening at a bulgarian house that a gr8 night. Also Titanic bar gr8 food and Gr8 drink and fun its a must to the Titanic. If you go say hi to pepe on the bar in the day !!
