Does anyone know if there are any organised excursions 4 the day, such as a tour on snow pulled by huskies?

Yeah there are these car like things on string which take you to the top of snowy mountains which you can ski back down - alot of fun or there are these things called pubs where u can get these magic drinks.

Im not sure mate - there are Ski-doos thats all I know.

Yes you can have trips by ski doo, in horse sleighs or organised hiking tours in Borovez within using the Gondola and without. You can go to the Rila and Roshen Monastery to Melnik and Plovdiv and many more.

Can you tell me more about the hiking trips - are they on cleared paths or do you use snow shoes?

Hey Meg,

normally you need no snow shoes, only hiking boots. The paths are good to find and walked so you can see and follow them. You can take a guide or have a look for your own. You need a good condition and something to drink and will have a fantastic time and beutiful views, in quite sceneries.

my favorit is the Chakar Voivoda a three hour trip, one way but one of the fabulous views you will find. Even good but more sportive the route to the Mussala hut.
