On Wednesday, snowfalls are expected across the country, Mr. Yankov warned. Late next week temperature in Samokov nearby Borovets winter resort will drop down to -10° C. He warned also the tourists to be careful as avalanches might be triggered.

It is the Borovets page on metcheck. There is 17cm due Wednesday and high winds all week and up to 31mph by Tuesday night. This will mean that the Gondola iwill be closed = long queues else where. Not good news for half term week.
I imagine it must be very cold as well if the wind is so high as the wind chill hasn't been taken into ...

So take my advice and wrap up warm!!
