I agree with Derek and St we need to think about this logically and from a business point of view and not let emotion take over the longer term good.

From what I saw when there it is a good build, facilities if up and running look great and it is a good location, once no longer looking like a building site. If we price sensibly, from the figures sent on rentals they do seem low. Unfortunately everything seems vague and this is what we need signed, sealed and delivered. The different options available eg, their rental company, other management company, owners who purely want it for their own use and family/friends etc. I still believe the best longer term option is to have one management agent who is good ideally this should be Victory but not with the current people running it. I have emailed Coral also saying I feel they should give us some support we have not been sold what we expected ie facilities that work and we do not need to be charged extra for using as a owner etc. Nothing is clear. I would not do anything at the moment to get guests unless I let them go free on a fact finding mission.
If we can communicate with the "nice" owner and have representative from our group and a trustworthy (on our side) lawyer. Maybe we can move forward. The way I feel is I want to know the detail of the different options, know who we can communicate with who will respond, and feel comfortable that I could send people over who would not get caught up in all this nonsense. I feel longer term it would be better to get them working with us as suppose to having an ongoing battle. It feels to me the wrong people are in the jobs there but there probably is a shortage of experienced people over there? So many buildings and not enough experienced managers. I feel all owners should be included and work to all of our benefits and any costs for lawyers etc will be kept low. We need to know who wants to take this route is prepared to contribute to the cost. I will email you Derek and would appreciate being involved. It is obvious things work very differently in Bansko, complaining does not seem to work so maybe we need to take a different route? By the way does anyone speak fluent Bulgarian?

Harmony are no longer operating? Those cheating swindling b*stards. That makes total sense. Create the company especially for us, provide poor furniture, poor design and poor service and then wind the company up once the business stops and run off with all the profit - job done.

So if anything goes wrong now with the furnishings then there is no come back (or the wiring - someone above indicated that Victory told them it was Harmony who are responsible for some internal wiring). Man, I've been done.

I was there to sign off, but there were no extras in my apartment e.g.decoration (pictures, rugs, vase), hopefully this has been installed since my visit in July. What happens about the warranty for the furnishings?

As far as we are aware Harmony Bulgaria is not in function any more but they confirmed few months ago that all the apartments are fully furnished and also have been signed off by the developer.

Can you please include me in any emails concerning Victoria apartments (or Casa Carini!!). I bought a 1 bed apartment & arranged for Victory group to manage the rental side of things. I too am feeling frustrated at the lack of communication between us and the developer. I am skiing out there from Monday 9th Feb for 1 week & taking my young family. I am frantically trying to obtain answers concerning the facilities etc...I do happen to know a local owner of a restaurant where I live who is Bulgarian and has properties over there (he is a business partner with my brother in-law). I may need to speak to him shortly if I don't get a response from Daniela Nancheva to my latest email. I am sure he will help us. I don't suppose you have the telephone numbers of the 'Management' at Victoria? I have Daniela's but no-one elses.
