Do you need a visa if you are travelling from the UK on a British passport

Hi Liz

As long as you have a British Citizens Passport, you do not need a visa for stays upto 90 Days in any 6 month period. (The rules changed from Sept 1St 2006).

However if you have a British Subject Passport then you do need a visa. There were a number of examples during the summer where subject passport holders were refused entry.

Basically if you were born in the Uk you will have a Citizens passport.
