Spoke to friends in Bulgaria yesterday and the news is that it's going to be a great year with lots of early and late snow!!!!And loads in between. Hope they are correct!!!!
There is a Lama (named Glen) at Trycross Zoo that vibrates all day long on the 8th of October IF it's going to be a snowy season in Bulgaria. No Lama vibration - no snow! However If Glen farts all day on the 8th it will be a warm season. This works on the Groundhog principle.
I'll make the trip to the zoo and will let you know the vibratory, flatuent Lama status snow report for 2007 / 2008. The keeper has noted some minor Lama twitches; this I'm assured is a good sign.
