Well, as Steve/Hornster indicated, things turning colder as we speak-with white stuff on the way. This cold snap will be a bit like the last couple--will last til second half of week, then looks like warming up again as we approach December. At the mo the first few days of Dec look staying milder (but not extremely mild) with it then becoming cooler. The good thing, unlike last years disaster, is that the weather is generally much more mobile (in other words no big high pressure sitting in place stopping all the rain/snow) which means things will alternate between cold and less cold, but with something at least falling out of the sky, and as land mass and sea temperatures slowly cool the chances of snow still look good into December
