off tomorrow to boro, any weather predictions or anyone there now to give latest forcast, staying in the rila can we ski from there??

Just talking to someone in Boro. Skiing still good especially on the top. Currently snow showers but wind increasing. Predictions are for 2 days of wind and snow showers, so the gondola may have to shut. Skiing still down to Rila.Have a great time.

thanks, just booked the rila cos last year we were in pamps and kids and me got sick of getting ski bus, so thanks for info, just a quick question if the gondola is shut is there still plenty of skiing to do?re: weather

The best snow is always on the top but I asked if I would still like the lower slopes and was told yes. There are some icy patches but more snow is forecast and the cannons are working. I'm usually a reluctant skier on ice or patches, so you should be ok. Plenty of runs on lower slopes. Kids will enjoy toboggoning outside the Rila in the evening.
There's still snow on the run PP will be doing for the Ski Thong, although I was told if he intended to do it this weekend, he ...
