re: weight advice?

Yep it wont turn easy, if your a beginner it really is important that you are well within the weight range to make life easy, weight is more important than height also you need an "all mountain" board not one designed for the park or advanced off piste, make life easy on yourself get a board designed for beginners and not too long unless you are over 6 foot, speak to Bargain boards for advice then phone another couple of companies up, there are loads of good well priced boards/bindings about.
