That first run of the morning when its cold, crisp and freshly pisted. The muscles start to loosen up, you blow the hangover away and breathe in the mountain air as the sun rises in the sky. Doesn't matter where you are, the blue sky contrasting over the white piste makes for such a magical experience.
And then stopping at 9.30 for the first vin chaud/gluhwein of the day...
Gotta go the opposite way.
My favourite is probably the last run of the day. Being that last person on the mountain is such a great feeling! When the lifts stop and everyone else has dissappeared and it's just complete silence. Plus you get to be smug and think that you're more hardcore than everyone else!
danny . first question . we does everyone respond twice. i think most of the time its whats in your head. could be good for some not others . can anyone answer this in a scientific way
The ski-out in sunshine village.long run through awesome scenery and challenging if you do like me and SP and take the lower canyon run because we missed the sign to the upper canyon. No more than 20ft wide and numerous sheer drops of 5or6 ft and all tight bends for about 1.5 miles.Total run I think is about 5 miles Taking upper canyon next time.
