please help, never been sking before. going to pamps beginning of march. 4 in party 2 adults 1 teenager and 1 11 year old. what clothes will we need for slopes and what for night time!re: what to wear
skiing ,salopettes, good jacket, tube socks good gloves,sunglasses or goggles,t shirt back pack with fleece jumper incase it gets cold sun blockevening wear good walkin boots layers of t shirts jumper. its easier to take layer off if u get too hot.
ps take a good sense of humor

You can get your sallopettes and jacket relatively cheaply in places like TK Maxx if you are near one, or skiwear4less on line, or outdoor megastore on line too.
You only need one or two pairs of sallopettes - you won't use them any other time of the year and get a good jacket as you can use that at home if cold enough.
You could either buy the tube socks, or if you prefer a bit more comfort, get the technical socks - they are worth the few pence extra.

Another place that may be worth checking out is www.decathlon.co.uk. There are not alot of stores in the UK but may be worth a trip. The carry a wide range of stock and their in house brand 'Quechua', I have been told is very good and reasonable if you are working on a budget.Ratty

Aldi have their adult ski wear in stock this week if you have one of their stores near you.At the end of the day BG is very relaxed and you can wear what you feel most comfortable in. I like to wrap up warm even in the evenings and strip off if necessary whilst sitting in front of the log fire. The youngsters amongst your group may feel differently and teenage girls in stillettoes may learn the hard way!!
