I gather there are quite a few new restaurants this season. A mix of old established restauranteurs and some new ones to the Pamporovo area. Lets hope they are looking for future repeat trade and not just out to make a fast buck and rip off the tourists with scams and cons.
Perhaps people could post their experiences on here after their holiday so that we can advise on where is good to eat and where to avoid? The sooner they realise that reputation is key, the better.
The 3 man chairlift at Malina 2 apparently is being dismantled and replaced by a 6 man lift and hopefully will be ready for the start of the 2011/12 season. The 3 man lift will then replace the drag lift currently being used to take skiers up to Snejanka. The drag lift will be removed completely. That horrible one by the walkie bit to the left of the final green run down.
Ski runs are also being redeveloped but I have no further information on that at present.

Finally - after much anger on taxi fares last year prices have now been set at 3 levs per km. These prices have been set by the municipal councils of Chepalare and Smoylan and they also apply throughout the resort of Pamporovo.
