HAve never been skiing before have two boys 7&9 and want to book for JAn next year. looking at brochures and having never been cant decide between BAnsco and Borovits.Any suggestions would be great.
if you have never skiied before try pamps as the slopes are easier and they have a realy nice green run which builds you confidence. bansko is great but the runs are a lot more challenging, also pamps centre is based around the perlik and there is loads to do for kids of your twos age bansko is a town with loads of small resturants and bars but in the evening I think the entertainment is around those not much for younger children although others may disagree.
go to the Rila in Borovets, you'll all love it, the boys can bumboard and sledge in the evenings, you can watch from your balcony or a bar, everything is central to the hotel, the studios are fine for a family of four -(breakfasts are great but dinners are not so good, so budget to eat out in evenings (its really cheap). Borovets is also the shortest transfer, about 80 minutes, as opposed to 3 hours to bansko (I think)
