Shops around the gondola station hire, might be worth taking a binding tool, friends hired last year and the bindings were badly set up, nothing 10 minutes couldn't sort out, if the base is shabby insist on an edge sharpen and base wax, they will do it if requested.
yup on the way to the gondola up the hill on the rite there is a place with a big glass front. good place to hire your boards and boots and the lad might even sort you out a good price, micheal i think he was called, always hung over in the mornings tho....
across on the left is good for tuition a bloke called moglee, least that is what it sounded like!
lift passes were about 120 quid for 6 days full boarding.
snows lookin good at the mo, im off to andorra this year,
I still cant find any positive site from where to hire ski equipment and also where i can arrange some tuition.
I wish it was more transparent like in the USA or Canada, you can book anything out there from over here.
Try snowandtrail.com to pre book or banskoski on main street approaching gondola if you want to leave it till you get there. P.S. Snow plough obviously hasn't got a clue what he/she's talking about. As well as board hire you'll also find better boarding terrain up the mountain than in Boro.
Try Method ski & snowboard shop in Bansko. Better quality than most others, maybe a bit dearer. They use Burton boards. they have a website and you can book in advance from memory.
