which one?

Hi can anyone help/advise? want to take family skiing, do we go to Rila Apartments in Borovets or Hotel Tanne in Bansko?? Anyone been to either? How far from skiing is Hotel Tane as seems nicer/quieter place? Many thanks

re: which one?

Been to Rila 5 times .good clean hotel . food reasonable. easy for slopes . although a busy hotel never had any problems with noise. Dont know how old your family is but there is quite a bit to do and pool is excellent.

Hi Smudge..
Tanne is a lovely hotel, almost chocolate box chic, good restaurant and facilities. 10 min walk from gondolar though they run their own bus as well. Situated opposite Monastry Apartments. 10-15 min walk into old town. One of the first new development hotels to be completed, German owned and built, Stayed there in 2005 over Christmas, had a good time... Very Happy

re: which one?

And the German who built it is now on trial in Germany for money laundry and the hotel is owned by his mafia 'partners'......
