which ski school??

Hi. I am going skiing in Jan for the 1st time and wandering how the ski school allocation worked. We booked through Thomson and are staying at teh Samoka (something like that). How do we know who to start with (we booked the beginners 6-day lessons) Do we have a thomson repl, or does the hotel run our school, or do we just go to the slopes and join a class starting that day?
Any help would be appreciated
cheers, Jon

re: which ski school??

your rep should meet in the hotel reception about 9am the first morning, give you all your slips of papers to get your gear, ski pass and tuition. then take you to the ski depot to get you stuff and where you will be put into classes, all in the same class if you are all beginners...

re: which ski school??

most probably the samokov ski school, which is the better school anyway, very convenient because your ski storgage is at the bottom of the hotel next to the night club.
The first morning is hectic with everyone trying to get kitted out, but just be patient theyre pretty efficient in there Cool

re: which ski school??

Book it before you go though - It will probably be a bit cheaper. Confused
