re: which skis

I was looking for a pair that will do both on Pieste and a little off pieste fun in the powder,i'm doing both reds and blacks but being 6'3 and 16 and a half stone i find i tend to lose my skis in the soft stuff, also thought a wider ski may make me a tad more stable on the pieste...

re: which skis

wide ski for powder. stiff ski for stability on the piste (if you have problems with flex at speed, especially being lardy).

re: which skis

Have you bought yet tim? Agree with wider ski, shorter and much wider for your build! Then you need to put a second binding on it and use a comfier pair of boots. You can still call it skiing if it makes you feel better but you will get down the mountain much better, cooler, having more fun and no need for those silly sticks Wink Razz Booze
